KIANI AKTI

The Kyani Akti is the most popular beach in the city of Preveza.

It has been known for many years, but in the past decade, it has evolved into a summer hot spot.

It is considered the beach where locals of Preveza swim, but the creation of new dining areas that operate as beach bars during the summer months now attracts tourists and young people.

The coves are sheltered and provide calm waters daily, making them ideal for young swimmers.

The continuous beach with coves harmoniously blending with the majesty of the eucalyptus forest creates a unique blue-green symphony. Occasional cold currents felt while swimming in the predominantly warm waters may originate from the connection of waters in the wider area.

After all, this is where the Ambracian Gulf meets the Ionian Sea.

Kyani Akti has all the facilities for a special wheelchair to provide sea access for people with disabilities (PWD). Its wide wheels can move on the sand, and it can float in the sea, always with assistance.

ALONAKI

The other well-known beach in the city is Alonaki of Preveza (as there is also Alonaki Fanariou).

It is located in the coastal area of Pantokratoras and overlooks the vast blue of the Ionian Sea.

The beach is sandy with shallow waters that are very pleasant for swimming.
