ΠΑΛΙΑ ΠΡΟΞΕΝΕΙΑ, Πρέβεζα

Characteristic buildings are the English, Russian, Austrian, Italian, and French consulates that were erected during the period of Ottoman rule.

The Italian consulate, located at 100 Ethnikis Antistaseos Street and built in 1881, was the residence of the Italian-Jewish merchant Elias Sdrin, son-in-law of Caesar Konemenos who served as Italy's consul.

The English Consulate is a three-story, tile-roofed building on the corner of Nikis and Kaisara Konemenou streets. It was built in 1870 and was used first as the residence of Caesar Konemenos and later as the English Consulate.

The French Consulate is located at the corner of Nikis and Ioannou Kalou streets. It was built in 1865 by the merchant Petros Karydis. His grandson, also named Petros Karydis, later served as the French consul for a long period and used the building as the French Consulate.

The Austrian Consulate is located on the ground floor of the Ath. Athanasiadis building from 1865, at the corner of Sapountzaki and Lord Byron streets. The Austrian Consulate is a three-story stone building with neoclassical elements. It dominates Seferis Square and was used as the seat of the Austro-Hungarian consulate and as the consul's residence.

The Russian Consulate, a two-story building, is located at the junction of Ethnikis Antistaseos and Sapountzaki streets. It was built by Petros Skeferis in 1852 and was used as the Russian consulate. Consul Dimitrios Skeferis, who played a significant role in the negotiations for the surrender of Preveza to the Greek army in 1912, served here.
