Almost the entire coastline of Preveza, from the Ambracian Gulf to Parga, is filled with small and larger beaches, both organized and unorganized, offering countless opportunities and reasons for endless hours of carefree enjoyment and play with the sand and the sea — but also one problem: which of all these beaches to choose!
Starting from Kyani Akti, you head north. The first “stops” are the Castle of Pantokrator, standing at the entrance of the Ambracian Gulf, and Alonaki.
A key feature of both is the easy access (you can even get there on foot). Next comes Kalamitsi, a seaside settlement with many greenhouses and cultivations, followed by the cape of Mytikas, one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in Preveza.

And the kilometers of sandy beach continue: from Mytikas, the road follows the coastline and quickly brings you to Monolithi, dominated by the forest that almost reaches the sea, with the impressive fine sand “embracing” the endless beach while the pines brush against the water.
On the beach, there are beach bars offering coffee and drinks until late at night.
The beach of Kastrosykia, a little further north, is ideal for families, while the route continues along the coast, reaching the seaside settlements of Lygia and Vrachos–Loutsa, and finally arriving at the tranquil Ammoudia.
The largest part of this route, from Preveza to Ammoudia, runs right along the sea, with only a few short stretches moving away from the coastline. This means that as you pass, you’ll discover smaller and more secluded coves where you can enjoy your swim without encountering many people.
Along the entire route, you will enjoy the endless blue while gazing at Paxos.
Arriving in Parga, you'll admire the olive groves and colorful traditional houses, completing a fantastic road trip to the most famous "mainland" island.
